Bottom watered this bromeliad and came back to a dish full of worms????? Hopefully harmless worms??? I am disturbed. The offending plant and its worms have been locked out of the house. Please tell me I don’t have the burn the whole place down 😭🤮

Low, indirect light. Can’t remember what potting soil. Pot is probably way too big. Currently in a very long battle against soil gnats (hence the sand)

I have no idea, but if it gives you any comfort, I have yet to see a bug from bottom watering that anyone has labeled harmful! I don’t bottom water though, so not familiar other than what gets posted on here.

Pretty sure theyre just wormy worms. Normal ass worms. In general the only soil bound pest thats a problem is fungus gnats and even then, theyre not likely to kill your plant theyre more annoying than anything else.

If these are straight up normal worms, i actually suggest putting some in your other plants. Dentrivores (decay eating creatures) help keep worse pests and problems away , and of course worms add lots of nutrients to soil.
