Tim Pickles, a genuine Macarthur celebrity, will be the star turn at a business breakfast next month.
Over the years locals have got to know Tim Pickles simply because he’s not your garden variety horticulturalist, pardon the pun.
For starters, he has a sense of humour, and his witty signs outside his beautiful garden centre in Queen Street, Campbelltown, bear testament to that.
While they are part of his business marketing strategy, they have also put a smile on the faces of people who walk or drive past his garden centre.
His passion for trees and plants, especially natives, has also made Tim a bit of a lovable rogue gardener in the past few years, adding to his celebrity status.
There’s no doubt that the business people who attend the Narellan chapter of the South West Networking Group (SWNG) combined breakfast event are in for a treat when Tim Pickles gets hold of the microphone.
Members from four regional chapters, Narellan, Camden, Campbelltown and Liverpool, will be attending the event on Wednesday, September 17, 7am to 8.30am, at the Camden Valley Inn.
Organisers confirm that the highlight of the morning will be delivered by their guest speaker, Tim Pickles.
Tim will share insights into his journey of building a successful business over decades, and how his dedication to community engagement has been a cornerstone of his enduring success.
“This event is a fantastic opportunity for local business owners to hear from one of the region’s most respected entrepreneurs,” says Rolf Fuchs from SWNG.
“Tim’s story is both practical and inspiring: he’s built a strong business by staying true to his values and staying closely connected to the community.”
SWNG is a not-for-profit business networking organisation run by the members, for the members.
Each chapter meets weekly for breakfast and networking, providing an encouraging and professional space for business owners to build lasting relationships and grow their enterprises.
This event is open to visitors, and local businesspeople are warmly invited to attend, connect, and experience what SWNG has to offer.
Bookings are essential, and places are limited. The cost is only $20, including breakfast.
