my ivy plant has looked like this for probably over a month now, it went downhill when i had to leave the house for a few days and forgot to water it before i left. all the leaves wilted and either dropped off or i took them off when they got dried out. i also repotted it to make sure it wasn’t too waterlogged after i watered it again. Recently I snipped off a bit of the end of the plant and saw that the inside was still white, which I believe means that it’s still alive, so I’m hoping I could potentially still revive it. I also read that it might help to trim the plant down to the base. any advice? what should i do? the plant gets about 8 hours of half sun a day.

This is so optimistic 🥺 but unfortunately it is time to invest in a new plant 😂

Since I live somewhere that ivy is highly invasive, the only good ivy is dead ivy.

How big is the root ball? Can you repot it in a smaller pot? Maybe cut it down some too?

If that was my plant I would repot it into a smaller container and cut it down some, and see what happens. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

In my experience ivy will only grow in between my sidewalk in terrible conditions and way too much heat. 🤣

If this ivy is going to be a part of an evil witches room, I say it looks great and keep up the good work 👍🏼

Throw it out the back door. If next year you have a yard full of it then it will be fine. Bring some back inside then.

    Rest in rot 🥀

  15. I am convinced that if you toss it outside… it will take over your yard.
