So it begins…
Our garden backs on to a little woodland with a huge horse chestnut tree that sheds its leaves far too early in the year. The wind has been blowing poorly for me the last few days! Back to raking (til November) I go!!

All the leaf mould you can make though: every cloud, etc. 😁

Last year I did the same and ended up being a waste of time. Or you can count it as exercise!

It’s being reported we are having an early autumn this year 😞

  4. It’s great for leaf mould though! And wildlife (if you leave it alone in the corners).

Raking is excellent cardio vascular exercise 😁

You could use a leaf blower to put them all on the lawn then mow them up.

All the trees are dropping early. We had a big drop around June after the first heat wave/dry spell in NW Uk. I have never seen that before, my garden looked like autumn 🍂 it was because of the stress with the heat and no rain, in fact the trees near me have been constantly dropping since then.

Getting a battery leaf blower that macthes my other tools was this years best buy, even if it was end of line on ebay !
