Had this money tree for about a year now 🌱. Normally, in each growth cycle it only puts out one new leaf per stem, but this time each stem is pushing out TWO at once!
The only thing I really changed was repotting it. It had been in the same 6” pot since I got it — not root bound, but definitely a good amount of roots. I decided to move it into an 8” pot with fresh soil, and wow… what a difference. Within about three weeks it started putting out so much new growth. Before that, it had really slowed down.
Just thought I’d share in case it helps anyone else, if your money tree feels like it’s stalling, even if it’s not root bound, checking the roots and giving it fresh soil can really give it new life.
Ideally, do this in spring or summer when they’ve got the light and energy for growth, not in fall or winter when they’re slower.
