Paddy McGuinness calls out builders who did work in his garden

He noticed the weeds in the last few months, but said before, the garden had looked “brilliant” for a “year or two”.

Speaking to the camera, Paddy showed separate clips of more than 20 weeds.

In the TikTok video, Paddy said: “I had an artificial lawn put down about a year or two ago and I’ve gotta say, it’s been brilliant.

“Kids have loved it, no mud, no mess, everyone’s happy. But over the last four or five months, I’ve noticed a lot of problems with it.”

After pointing out the several weeds, he goes on to show some patches that have appeared, saying: “All these mad yellow and orange patches everywhere.”

Sighing, he later says: “Job’s gone wrong.”

He explained he’d tried to contact the company who installed the artificial grass but hasn’t been able to get any response.

Frustrated, he said: “F****** cowboys. Why’s everyone out to shaft you? Can no one just offer a service and it be right?

“Listen, if you’ve used a company who lay these kind of lawns and you’re happy with it, let me know. I don’t want to put it down again if it’s gonna be screwed in another year or two and changing colour and weeds everywhere and dips in it and all that pony.”
