The end of summer is honestly heartbreaking. We’re at the time of the year where kids are filing back into school, the sun is starting to set earlier, and stores are fully embracing the fall. However, bargain hunters also now that this is the best time of the year to actually stock up on seasonal summer staples, since big box stores are trying to clean out their inventory to make way for other seasonal must-haves.
Currently beloved retailer Walmart is doing their best to sell off what’s left of their seasonal outdoor furniture and more, and the deals are wildly tempting. Don’t believe us? Check out what one shopper Amanda Monsen (@amndadoeshauls) found while perusing her local Austin, Texas Walmart.
First she found a stunning Better Homes & Gardens patio sectional and table for just $224 but regularly retailed for $774, according to the TikToker. Then she spotted another great table and sofa combo for just $250. People were slack-jawed to see the stunning pieces they could snag at a reasonable price, though some naysayers were skeptical.

“I’ve had this set since Spring (I paid full price) its holding up nicely,” one follower claimed. “My husband is 6’3″ and can lay on it, its bigger than it looks-can easily seat 6 people comfortably. Cushions are a performance fabric and don’t stain, table is actually sturdy metal but looks like wood, under the rattan body is a steel frame so its very sturdy. It also comes with covers for winter/weather. $200 is an actual steal for this.”
Prices online for these finds are slightly higher but still on clearance; however in-store shoppers seem to be scoring the best deals. The best course of money-saving action will be to physically visit your local store.
