Jacksonville, AL – The Jacksonville Public Library will host a fall gardening workshop on Thursday, August 21, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. The event is presented by Root & Bloom Consulting and is designed for both new and experienced gardeners.
The class will provide practical advice on what to plant during the fall season, how to prepare soil, and ways to care for gardens during cooler months. Attendees will also learn strategies for managing pests and frost, as well as tips for extending their harvest. The session will highlight crops best suited for Alabama’s climate zones 7a and 7b.
