    It’s perfectly symmetrical? I’d emphasize that. Remove the screen that’s hiding the door. Remove all the plants reserving the foxtail agave. Add a walk from door to sidewalk. Cut the agave up and replant in the bed filling in with lots of small succulents. Around here those agave get 5′ tall or so and will partly hide the door except when folks are facing the door. You will have to do a lot of pup removal though and may prefer to replace ones at the new front path with dracaena that don’t want to sprawl.

    I’d want to add a walk extension to hell strip for symmetry’s sake and another street tree if possible. I’d want to remove the grass there as well and add a row of pawers to street side and fill remainder of space with lower growing succulents.

    If the window frames cannot be painted use white as trim color and a deeper tan for garage door and the triangles of stucco.
