Sunnyside Kilwinning garden centre is proud to announce its sponsorship of the 2025 Kilwinning Flower Show.

A locally owned and operated business, Sunnyside Kilwinning’s commitment to nurturing both gardens and community roots sits at the heart of this partnership.

Hosted as always by Kilwinning Horticultural Society, Kilwinning Flower Show is a much-loved annual event bringing together both beginner, intermediate and experienced gardeners. Exhibitors can place entries in different classes, from cut flowers and pot plants to handicrafts and baking.

The show will take place in Abbey Church Hall on Thursday, August 28. Doors will open at 2pm with the official opening at 7pm. The Segdoune Royals will hand out the trophies to the winners.

The Kilwinning Flower Show was cancelled last year due to a lack of volunteers. Now, with the support of Sunnyside and a dedicated team of organisers, this year is set to be a great success.

Sunnyside owner Terry McLellan said: “We’re thrilled to sponsor this year’s flower show. Supporting this event is about more than showcasing beautiful flowers. It’s about growing local talent and bringing together the Ayrshire community.”

Sunnyside will give a free packet of seeds and a free cup of coffee from their upcoming café to everyone who enters one of the show’s categories. For category winners, Sunnyside will gift a £5 voucher to use in-store.

With over 60 years serving the region, Sunnyside Kilwinning has long been a hub for high-quality plants, expert advice, and community engagement.

This autumn, Sunnyside Kilwinning is set to expand with a new on-site café, from which it plans to run regular community events and initiatives.
