I’ve had this Maculata for quite some time and it’s always done great but the last couple months I’ve noticed it deteriorating. I water it once a week and it is always producing new leaves but I’ve been noticing a lot of yellowing leaves this summer and now more browning.

It’s not near a window but it does have multiple grow lights on it. Unfortunately there are vents under all of my windows and I worry about the draft from the AC.

I thought the yellowing might be overwatering, but I’ve read that they actually don’t like to dry out and that makes me think that I may not be watering it enough as it does tend to dry a good amount in between watering.

Having the same exact issue right now with mine 🙁

I read that brown tips can mean low humidity. My tips turned brown over the winter but are looking great in the summer humidity. Maybe add a diffuser nearby?

It could be from underwatering or nutrient deficiency (yellow only). I would do an inspection for pests as you seem to have some pretty damaged leaves

Just lost three leaves today. I’m in Southern California, might just be the summer heat.

I added a humidity tray under mine to see if that’d help. We’ll see.

I would say that you should water it consistently (they don’t like drying out completely) and add a humidifier
