you’d make more selling cuttings. not many people really want to buy a huge plant like that or move it. for example that top cut with a ton of fenestrations could easily get $50-75 for a 2 leaf cuttting.

Price isn’t really your problem. The issue is going to be the right buyer with that much free space being interested at all. If I were in the area and had space I’d have no issue with the price. It’s more about the hassle of moving it
RecreateTheDiamond
What kind of structure do you have supporting it?

The price seems good, but there’s not a big audience that will buy, or can house, a plant that size!
IronChefOfForensics
I think it’s a great plant. You should target companies that service office buildings because they got big plants in their atriums or malls.
IronChefOfForensics
I’d go for at least 1000 bucks
frogcharming
the price is right but like others said, you may have trouble selling it. Try posting it in your local subreddit, or local houseplant groups on Facebook to see if there’s any interest in cuttings or the whole thing.

Out of curiosity, how old is your plant?
Nutatree
If I had a spot for it and was nearby this world be an easy sell to me
Electronic_Shame_977
$300 is definitely a fair price! You’ll find someone with the space that wants it. I really don’t agree with chopping it for cuttings.
I would personally rather buy a mature plant like this than cuttings from a plant
Ok-Yogurtcloset-8996
It’s worth alot more then that… You can cut it up and sell it for plant babies…lol and start all over again..
skralogy
Try to find a retail space that sells indoor plants or a nursery that may be able to find a buyer. Send them a picture and they may make you an offer.
But I could see a plant that size going for $600+ to someone who has space for it.

I peep the Norfolk pine. Literally how

Does not seem like too much, and it’s actually not too easy to find plants this big. $300 actually seems like a steal to me.
Forever_Ever1111
Not too much! I need a new house, preferably with 20 foot ceilings and floor to ceiling windows.

Honestly for a monstera that mature and massive, $300 feels pretty fair — especially around Boulder where plant people go wild for big ones like that
Saunters_anxiously
I’m going to show this photo to my monstera.

I’ll give you $400

Offer it up to home stagers; something like this would be fabulous in high-end homes. Professional designers would love it too.
