  1. A month ago I made a post asking for help identifying an ailment. Here is the old post https://www.reddit.com/r/AfricanViolets/comments/1ljr7j4/cyclamen_mites_over_fertilized/. Was torn between over fertilization or some kind of pest. I bought some diatomaceous earth, and applied it to the plant. Here is a 1 month update.

If you ask me my Violet has improved quite a bit from what it was before. Its even started flowering again. Leaves are still clumped together and slightly curling less than before but still curling. Some of the leaves are vibrant and healthy, others look stubby and deformed. I read it could take months to recover, I’d say progress is being made.

I can’t speak to diatomaceous earth as a cure, but I can tell you that the deformed leaves won’t un deform. If it is cured, the new growth will come in healthy, and you will trim away the deformed growth as it becomes obsolete so that it does not crowd the healthy growth. Good luck.
