Couldn’t pass up this amazing deal. Only $40 for this fabulous oncidium! I do wonder though; is it normal for older pseudobulbs to have a slight wrinkle to them? The reason I ask is because despite keeping the medium moist there remains a slight wrinkle to them though it was more extreme when I got it.

Yes, it is normal for older pseudobulbs to become wrinkled over time, especially if they are no longer actively supporting new growth. These older pseudobulbs often lose their plumpness and firmness as they age and may even shrivel or turn yellow. This is usually a natural part of the orchid’s life cycle and doesn’t necessarily indicate a problem, especially if the newer pseudobulbs are healthy and plump.
