[Music] [Music] If we clean the roof, we get on your roof. Yes. Yes. Thank you. Oh, for sure. [Music] Hey everyone, welcome back to the channel. And if this is your first time tuning in, my name is Daniel and I cut overgrown yards with my dad, Martin. Now, today we have a very special one. We had the privilege of helping someone that truly needed the help. We were contacted by a subscriber named Christine. She told us about her neighbor across the street, a disabled woman named Shayla. Now, Shayla is unfortunately missing a leg and she relies on a wheelchair to move her around, causing her to really struggle with her property. Christine told us that her own brother has been quietly maintaining Shayla’s front yard just out of the kindness of his heart. But the backyard just became way too overwhelming. He tried to cut it time after time, but with him being 70 years old, it was just too much for him to handle on his own. Now, that’s when Christine decided to reach out to us, and we are super glad she did because this is the type of work we love doing. It’s a beautiful reminder that the smallest acts of kindness, like mowing a lawn or just sending a simple email, can lead to something much bigger. So, we spent 8 hours bringing Shayla’s backyard back to life and giving her a safe space that she hasn’t had in years. So, this one’s definitely not just about overgrowth. It’s about showing Shayla that people still care and that she has an amazing community surrounding her. Was that you? Huh? Huh? Was that you that emailed me? Uh, probably my sister. It was uh Chris, I think. Yeah, Chris. Yeah, man. This this woman needs help. She uh in a wheelchair, very sick. Set it down. Her son ain’t, you know, he was born. You know what I’m saying? Mhm. She had two sons. One had to stay there to come get him cuz he was whooping up on her. Sorry. We used to stay here and uh I used to kind of like help him clean this yard and then she put him out cuz he wouldn’t work. Uh-huh. And let me show you something. Okay. Let me grab my camera real quick. Yeah. Man, you going to shake your head on this? Okay, let’s check it out. Homeboy cut his leaves, sold them over here. And I said, “Oh, man. Man, I’m talking about I might as well appreciate the environment, man. And I said, I’ve been trying to do everything I could and you know, I’m 70 years old, man. I can’t tell cutting my own yard. Yeah, it’s bad. Yeah, it’s bad. It is bad. The dog the the hole back here, man. You have to be careful cuz I didn’t fail back here. And when I tell you man, I don’t like to give up on nothing, but that woman need help. And when I say she need help, that’s what we here for. Mhm. It is literally a jungle. There’s no way to walk into it. This is the farthest I can go. So, this sure is going to be a major transformation, and I can’t wait to see her reaction. So we weren’t able to use the mower, but over here it looks like it is flat. So we’re going to bring the mower and just try to get some mowing action on this insanely tall weeds grass. little trees. The neighbor across the street that told us about this yard offered us lunch and she said she’s on her way with it. So, let’s try to get as much done as we can before she gets here. Heat. Heat. Watch out. There’s a yellow wasp around here. Huh? There’s a yellow wasp. A yellow jacket. Yeah, I guess if you don’t mind, you can throw that out there on the streets, too. All that Yeah, go put it on the streets, man. All that they put on the street with that trash. That’s where all that can go. That keep it from falling on me. And you know, I’m a old booger, man. That look good, sir. She said she can’t really come see it, so she going to get her son to take a picture of it. Okay. She said she probably get no, you know, it’s hard on her. Yeah. Okay. I mean, when we first got here, you could not even walk in at all. And take a look at it now. All nice and open. It actually looks like a backyard now, not a jungle. Major transformation. Definitely one of the biggest ones we have ever done. and we are super glad we got to do it for someone that truly needed the help. So now we’re going to go ahead and move on to the roof, try to blow everything off and leave it as clean as possible. So let’s go ahead and get straight into it. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Check out everything that came out of the backyard. A massive pile of tree limbs and debris. We are super happy with the results. Like I said, we even cleaned up her whole roof, the carport, but we will not get her reaction. We do not want to disturb her since she is disabled. We don’t want to make her come to the door.
