Those are dyed Strawflowers, Xerochrysum bracteatum glued onto each cactus.

  2. Not just artificially colored – the entire flower is “fake” (it’s a real flower, but from a different plant and just glued onto the cactus)

Yep, completely artificial, and taking them off can damage the growth point, a pain in the a**… I’ve done it a few times though, so if you manage your expectations and the plants are cheap, go for it!

  4. You can see the hot glue on them, babe! They’re definitely artificial.

What about the ones you see at Home Depot? Are they all fake? 😅

I’ve had one since 2010 and while those first flowers were glued on and fake, it’s given me a ring of real flowers at least 3 times in the years since

While it may be damaging to the plant in the long run, these dried flower additions make it easier for you to repot the cacti at home.

Dyed flowers glued on. Not even cactus flowers.

they are not just artificially covered they are not even a part of the cactus they are glued on.

You can SEE the glue- those aren’t real blooms

Never buy that crap. I will not support that kind of plant abuse.

As the cacti grows they will fall off and you can get it’s REAL, beautiful flowers one day
