    That’s not an Euphorbia obesa. It’s not an Euphorbia at all. It’s a cactus called Astrophytum myriostigma, the Bishop’s Cap cactus.

  2. Ohhh, hey! For once we have a cactus mistake for a euphorbia and not the other way around!

    That is a really nice looking astrophytum though, not really into the variegated one though.

    Is it sad to think that someone having such an old specimen could be so wrong on the identification?

    Not to be negative but how do you have such an old beautiful plant and not know what it is?
