Using poly pipe & blue Apollo fittings. 4 heads connected to funny pipe fittings. All dead ends at a valve box where a combination of Sharkbite fittings, PVC fittings, and brass fittings that let's me have a quick disconnect for a hose that runs off a LinkTap timer.

  1. Nice. I would suggest dropping those deeper into the ground though, at least six or so inches so nothing accidentally happens to the line. Unless the photo angle is just misleading, then ignore me

  2. Sounds like something I’d do, make a bad situation worse lol

Got a backflow preventer and blow out port?

Doing the same project with poly too in New England. For those asking pvc is not recommended in areas with deep freeze cycle. That’s the information I have read.

  5. Nice job, mate! Did the same 2 years ago and the everything still works fine.

    Two things I’d recommend:

1.get yourself some irrigation electronic valves and a controller. I didn’t do it back then, I used regular manual valves. I mean it does the job but it’s easier if you do properly now

    2. Make sure the sprinkler jet reaches the nearest adjacent sprinkler. I didn’t do it properly and I had to reinstall some of the sprinklers

This is me testing the newly installed sprinklers
