Got home from being out of town for 3 weeks and my snake plant had a leaf that withered and was able to easily be plucked out. Then today I went to water it and realized it had an ant infestation đŸ«  So I was planning on repotting it got all new soil etc. now I’m thinking it also has root rot??? It gets direct sunlight for 3-6 hours a day and I water it once every 3 weeks.

Hard to see the details in the photos but sanseveria have orange roots that are commonly mistaken to be rotten. As long as they’re not mushy or crispy they’re probably fine. Root rot tends to smell really bad, too.

Those roots are completely normal dude.

Nope, perfectly fine. Healthy roots can be any color. They’re only rotten if they’re squishy or slimy.
