Just imagine it’s white flowers in full bloom lol

  2. Tenacity. My company used it during slit seeding time in fall and spring

Mesotrione is the chemical name. Tenacity is the brand name.

You can buy it online. I sprayed my yard with it this year

Professional bum using the wrong stuff…lol

It prevents photosynthesis of the weed, therefore killing it because it cannot absorb any sunlight

Does that just target weeds and ignore regular grass?

  8. To be honest, I didn’t know professional landscaping companies used Tenacity.

Could also be pylex or topramazone. Mesotrione’s close cousin. Didn’t see anyone in the comments mention it.

    Could also be Topramezone

That’s what we get on crab when we use it.

Tenacity or Pylex both do this and are used to control crabgrass and certain other grassy weeds.

I think the brand name is Tenacity. Theres also some cheaper alternatives on amazon. I used it recently for the first time, and it works very well, but it is a slow process. I had a bad batch of seed and within a week 80% of my lawn was taken over by crabgrass and I didnt want to start from scratch and this stuff really did the trick. It does look weird when it all turns white though

    Tenacity –

Derived from the bottle brush plant. Some genius realized that only grass – not weeds, would grow around them. He isolated the chemical and produced it for sale.
