Hi all! For the first time, I’ve managed to grow a little indoor pepper plant from scratch and it has been my baby since. Usually, when the leaves get a bit droopy, it just needs more water, especially when it’s hot in the flat. However, yesterday evening I noticed for the first time that despite watering when the soil was dry, the leaves remained less perky than usual, and a tiny leaf (pictured) even fell off. I checked this morning to see if the evening watering had helped, put the plant remains the same while the first cm of soil is still moist. It also gets enough sunlight (which it so far loved) and I have not moved it’s spot at the window. Does anyone have any advice? It would be a huge help!

may be overwatering if leaves are falling, or he needs a bigger pot. pretty sure he needs a pot 3-4” wider in diameter. try adding some liquid plant food when watering as well!
When you say it ‘gets enough sunlight’, can you specify? This plant needs 6+ hours of direct sun per day to be healthy, let alone to fruit. Additionally, vegetables unfortunately don’t do super well in small pots like this for long. They generally need a lot of room; ideal planting is in a garden bed or in the ground.
You may like to look up some edible/vegetable gardening resources/subs as care info is very different to indoor plants, which this sub is mostly related to.
Needs a bigger pot too
Small pot =sad
Love how you are pointing at the fallen leaf, like you are a peasant servant from the olden times yelling ‘mister look, the leaves are falling!’
That or you are blaming the plant
I agree with others, it could really use a bigger pot
I’m actually amazed it’s done so well up until now
As said that pot is tiny for it
