I know many of us use these misters. I pour conditioner into my water (sth like reptisafe but european, gets rid of chlorine and binds metals). It’s brown and the bottom of this mister always has brown stains. Im hoping its from the conditioner. I use a long paint brush to scrub the bottom.

But the tube that actually sprits the water out used to be clear and now its grey. Ive tried filling the mister w hot water and vinegar and spray it out, but the tube just stays grey. Any suggestions?

I only use demineralised water and have a separate smaller spritzer I use for fertilizer or “dirty” aquarium water when I do water changes (only in the terrarium that doesn’t have animals, the geckos shit like elephants and there’s no need for extra)

I have hard water so the glass would be a mess if I were to spray tap water in the vivs.
Same demineralised water I use with automatic misting systems

I don’t mist as it’s not the best way to raise humidity. It just results in a fast spike that lasts about an hour. I pour water into the corners of the tank once a week to keep my humidity at about 80%.
