I’m a novice gardener and it’s my first time growing peppers. I’m unsure if all these dangly things are going to turn into peppers?
I bought them as seedlings and it was labeled “hot peppers”
Also it seems late in the summer to not have any peppers actually growing ? I live in Nova Scotia and it’s been unusually dry and hot.

Also my first year, so I’m no expert. But it looks like it can be peppers? Mine also had a bunch of flowers. You might need to give it a good shake every now and then, when flowers open up, so it’ll pollinate and produce fruit. If you get decent wind though, it might not be necessary.
will every one of those get pollinated and produce fruit? Maybe depends on many factors but you will for sure get many peppers from it

Looks like
They better 😤
Do yourself a favour and firmly tap the main stem of the pepper plant near the soil level to shake all the flowers. Peppers have perfect flowers, which means the male and female parts are contained in the same flower. But they usually rely on some kind of mechanical vibration from a pollinating insect to pollinate each flower. Only the pollinated flowers turn into peppers. The ones that aren’t pollinated turn yellow, dry up and fall off. You can choose to rely on bees and other pollinating insects to pollinate the flowers. But the results can vary quite a bit based on how many bees you have around you and if they’re attracted to your plants. I try not to rely on the bees and I just use an electric toothbrush to vibrate each flower. It also gives me a chance to take a look at each plant while I’m doing it. But you can just repeatedly tap the base of the plant firmly to unshake the pollen from the flowers and get yourself more peppers. It is late in the season to just be getting flowers now. But I figure you have at least until October 1st for ripened peppers. You can probably even bring your pepper plants inside overnight for the first few nights the weather dips below freezing and extend your harvest season into mid October easily. Just keep an eye on the weather forecast and if it’s close to 1 degree, just bring em indoors or inside the garage. I also have some peppers that are only flowering now. Good luck!
