I posted earlier saying I wanted to remove a garden area and replace it with sod. Pitch forms ensued. Wanted to share all the garden areas I have been working on and cleaning up. Including my elephant tree 🙂 front yard pics won’t load but there’s many garden areas in the front yard too.

Its your yard, its your garden, and you are the one that gets to decide what is right for you!

Wow! So beautiful. That puts it into perspective lol.

I want to do very shallow water features in my yard or side yards.

I went abroad recently to Asia and visited this really awesome garden. It was basically all level with small trees sticking out of shallow pools. Minimalistic but beautiful at the same time.

I need to learn about shallow pools, bacteria, etc now. Ugh…it just never ends.

If you have any advice for shallow pools of water, like little reflection type pools or what not that hold little plants, I’d love to hear it.

You should be able to do what you want to without the judgment of the internet bearing down on you. But that being said, the garden looks amazing and maybe you could give it a little time to ease into it before making a decision on any changes. Spend the money somewhere else in the meantime!

  5. I get you have a lot of gardens but I’ll say the one you want to remove looks pretty important. There’s dry riverbeds and a lot of planning that went into its design to mitigate water run off onto the patio. Maybe find a space that’s purely decorative
