Baking soda is not what you use for mealies, or at least I’ve never ever heard of it. Shoulda used rubbing alcohol. Id change out the dirt, you most likely threw the ph balance off with the baking soda. Time will help, and more sun. Mine gets at least 3hrs of direct sunlight and about 4 of filtered bright light

You could get some mealy bug destroyers, or whatever the bugs are called

Lots more light for thicker growth, mealy bugs you take a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol and touch the bug it will fall off.

Is this a new rescue plant or is this where it has lived for a long time?
The branches are super leggy, which suggests this thing hasn’t been pruned in a long time, and it looks like it needs more sunlight than it is front. The leaves are plump and full, this plant doesn’t need any more water for at least a week (or until the leaves deflate a little or start to wrinkle).
That dirt also looks pretty old (lots of dead leaves left to rot, paired with the baking soda the ph will be way off) and a fresh succulent soil with all its fresh nutrients will go a long way.
TL;DR: Alcohol for the mealy bugs, no more water for a little while (don’t water these things to a schedule), fresh dirt.
