RIVERTON — We’re looking out for the good this morning with a 9-year-old with a green thumb. Joshua Armstrong is what his family calls a “Plant whisperer.”
The Riverton native found a love for gardening two years ago when he found an onion sprouting in his pantry and watched a YouTube video on how to plant it. Now, Joshua plants everything he can, including potatoes, pumpkins and flowers.
He loves taking care of his plants every day. He even talks to them and tells them how good they are doing. One day, Joshua hopes to be a farmer.
