I got it a couple of weeks ago, since then I have grown really fond of this guy sitting on my dressing table. I don’t want to put it in soil. How long can I keep it as it is? I change the water every Friday and add a drop of liquid fertilizer every time I change the water. I also dropped in charcoal pieces in the bottle. It gets plenty of indirect light.

Pretty darn long. My mom had them in water all over the house on window sills
I have one that exclusively grows in an old fish tank half full of old poop water. It’s doing fine hahaha. Pothos are super hardy.
It can live but will eventually get smaller as their are no nutrients in just water unless you fertilize
Indefinitely provided you feed it nutrients. In an aquarium with fish it can live normally, because fish poop etc. If you keep it in a vase, look up hydroponic fertilisers and the apropriate dosage. You cannot use regular soil fertilizers in water, that will likely hurt the plant.
If you just use water, without anything additional, it could probably live for a year, maybe less, maybe more.
Until the end of time
