I bought this plant three days ago at Home Depot, at the store the plant looked so pretty and with all the flowers pointed up but now it looks like this, I’ve slightly watered once since I don’t want to overwater and changed place from outside my room door where it gets indirect sun to inside my room at the glass door where is definitely more shadowy and fresh.
The label at the pot says cyclamen, shadow and water twice a week and use fertilizer once a month.

The flowers with the longest stems might just be done. There are more buds that are still curled under, and will straighten up and bloom soon.
I keep mine in a self watering pot by the window or a plant light. They flower when it’s cooler. Normal for the old flowers to droop. They don’t like totally drying or lots of changes but don’t down them either. Roots a pretty fine and be gentle repotting I accidentally offed one taking too much dirt off the roots and it dropped a day later. Current one has been happy a few years in the self water pot and a well draining mix.
The foliage looks healthy I think the flowers are just spent
Water it properly. Over watering is not about how much water you give the plant, but how often you water and how long it takes the soil to dry. As long as you have the right soil you can pour a bucket of water in the pot every time you water.
Also you should know that these go dormant after flowering. If you bought it in full bloom the leaves will soon start dying. Don’t throw it out! Let the leaves die and water less and less. When they’re all dead put away the pot in a dark, dry cupboard for 6-8 weeks. Then put it in a sunny spot and water it. Keep the soil slightly damp but never soggy and the leaves will grow back
Hey guys I’m going to hijack this thread. I think this is a cyclamen right? Can it be kept outside over the winter?
