Found a bunch of these on my palm and calathea.
I’ve been wiping the calathea down with rubbing alcohol and they just don’t seem to care.
Both plants are well-drained.
Calathea is on a pebble tray and watered when top 1” is dry.
Bella palm is watered about once/week.
Both plants receive bright, indirect light.

Bug!! 🐛 some kind of mite i imagine?? I don’t think springtails climb up that high, definitely go to r/whatsthisbug
Those are thrips. That’s not good news.
The long body on that looks like thrips! Just recently learned that one of my partners plants had some and these look exactly the same but white instead of black! Ours was a cat palm too.
I saw people recommending castille soap, not 100% confident in that answer though! Good luck!

Dealing with this now. It’s thrips. Get yourself some swirski mites
Treat with bonide granules. Treat all your other plants too, as thrips can fly.
