It was sold as fragrant mimosa, but now that it’s finally got a bloom on it, it’s neither pink nor fragrant. I’m starting to wonder if it was mislabeled.

Actually my guess would have been Texas mimosa (*M. texensis*) on account of the leaves — it does sometimes produce pinkish flowers but I’ve never noticed a particular smell

What species is catclaw mimosa? I’ve never heard of a plant called by that name, although it seems like it’d fit pretty much any mimosa
