It needs you to go dump it in the trash, or preferably compost it.

You could maybe trim it back and place new soil in a *new* bucket, preferably with drainage.

Never throw in the towel, there may be a glimmer of life left in it.
I recommend that you water it first.
Cut the branches flush with the stem.
If you see that the frog is brown or breaks on its own, it is dead.
    Keep cutting and looking.
If at any time, you cut and see that the branch has some green, continue cutting little by little until you see the branch completely green.
It means that there is still hope.
Squeeze the main trunk or trunks to see if they are soft. It will mean that they are rotten or rotting, if they are hard without a feeling of dryness you may be able to recover it.

In short… prune and revise. If you do not find green stems and the plant has run out of leaves or stems, continue with the trunk, if you still do not see green, go directly to the birth of the branch. If you don’t see anything green either, it means it’s dead. If you see that there is green in some, do a very generous pruning so as not to make the plant suffer. If the ones you have pruned are alive, new leaves will grow again.

Neglect of irrigation, if you don’t have time to water it because you have it in the field… Do drip irrigation. Simple craft to do and your plant will not suffer from water shortage.
    Luck!

Gray and black spray paint would be cool too.

    Happy Halloween

Is that the original soil and container you had it in? When did it start to wilt? Did it start to wilt in shop or did you move it outside and then it started to wilt?

Legit thought this was horror art painted on a wall until I scrolled farther down and saw the bucket.

A fresh start. Got some good advice on here, what color are the roots? I just revived a rose bush I thought was dead, I checked the roots and some where white and she’s growing strong again. And yes, get it out of that galvanized bucket!!

It needs to be outdoors in the ground

    A funeral–
Norfolk Island Pine—you could check the stem (is the stem green)& cut it back to the green part, if there’s any sign of life. They’re a bit fussy, yet are often sold at Christmas, with colored Styrofoam balls

Were you feeding it weekly with 0-0-0?

It is my advice as a botanist. I have focused on the plant not the pot. Actually that bucket may have holes to drain the water. It is good since it provides iron if it is rusty and at the same time it is not advisable for a very long time. If the problem was caused by the change in location, it must be where the pine trees are. On firm soil and with a large substrate, that is, pieces of pine with insects such as ball bugs that help clean organic material. I don’t need artificial intelligence since it didn’t exist in my time.

It’s probably dead, but with extreme pruning and a repot  (WITH DRAINAGE) you might be able to resuscitate it! Inside of stems green = it’s hanging on. Stems crispy and brown = lost cause.
Bucket w no drainage holes likely slowly killed it.. You can plant in buckets if you drill a some thumb-sized holes in the bottom, just avoid galvanized steel or anything with peeling paint.

Less water and holes in the bottom the “planter” so the extra can escape. You did this to yourself.

Put some googly eyes on it and it’ll be fine
