I started this hydroponics system in April and have been cloning strawberry plants to fill it up. Recently I noticed the leaves are losing their green color and turning yellow to white. I have lighting on it so I don't think it is a light issue.

I sprayed a little neem oil for some spider mites then I changed the water. I am keeping the pH around 6-6.2 and the PPM varies between 1000-1200 where I generally try to stay at about 1100 ppm.

Can’t answer unless you provide what fertilizer you’re using.

  2. Yeah idk if anyone saw the webbing in the picture but you definitely have spider mites and thats whats causing this issue. I dont think its nutrients, look at the crotch of the wilted leaves in this pic and you’ll see the webbing im talking about. You’re going to want to spray a diatomaceous earth solution instead of neem, i found that neem doesnt work too well and it smells like doodoo

Try a fresh water 3-5day flush then re feed , neem is no good on tomatoes and a few other plants not sure on strawberries tho the whole growing area and a meter around it will need mite treatment . Mites are a b#tch to get rid of without a full cleanout and full spray in every crack . Don’t underestimate these evil little buggers , they say 3days respray thats it , but trust me do it again in another 3days and 3 days after that . Get a spray that stops adult reproduction or kills both adult and eggs. Don’t mess around with soap , vinegar ect . Its a job for a specific chemical any good hydro shop should have a choice of products. Always test a small area first, atleast 24hrs before spraying whole set up . And use something stronger around your grow area and re do regularly. Like i said prick of a creature and hard to remove environmentally friendly 100%

Got airflow? Because your readings suggest the nutes are okay (unless you are using a wildly inappropriate mix) but the plants can’t transport them.

What fertilizer are you using? Are your micronutrients chelated?
