The first two photos are of a set of Lithops I got over a year ago. I don't think I watered them at all because they were bloated, etc. But then they started shriveling which you can see on the sides. I watered with a dropper a couple of times without change, so I did water therapy a few times over two weeks and new roots are now growing. However, they're still wrinkled and I'm not sure they're taking in water at this point given the unchanged wrinkles.

It also looks like they're splitting, but they've looked that way for as long as I can remember. The tops are smooth and have little coloration like my others. They're also a bit softer as compared to my others which are quite firm, but I don't think they're rotting (especially given the new root growth).

My other Lithops have split and done fine, see photos 3-4.

I did not add any organic to the soil and they are all in 100% Bonsai Jack, gritty mix.

What stage are these guys in and next care tips?

  1. After water therapy, what method did you use to water them? They don’t look particularly thirsty, so I don’t think I would worry about it too much right now.
