George Clarke is returning to Channel 4 tonight with a brand new renovation series, George Clarke’s Kitchen vs Garden. The architect, design expert and Amazing Spaces star will tackle two of the most important areas of the home – the kitchen and the garden – in a makeover battle. Joining George is acclaimed garden designer and DIY SOS favourite Luke Millard, as the pair go head-to-head to help homeowners decide where to spend the bulk of their renovation budget.
What is George Clarke’s Kitchen vs Garden about?
From outdated kitchens in need of a modern makeover to neglected gardens longing for a breath of fresh air, George, Luke and their teams will offer a bespoke and innovative solution to make homes look and function better.
Across the series, we’ll see George and Luke offer their decades of experience to different homeowners facing design dilemmas. They will personally design two different design solutions: one which will see the majority of the homeowners’ budget spent in the kitchen, and the other which will see the large lump sum spent in the garden.

George will help the homeowners navigate where best to allocate their renovation budget to create spaces that work with their lifestyle. Both areas will be revamped, but the one with a lower spend will have to significantly compromise.
