My suspect is your watering issue. Did you always let the soil dry out completely before watering?

Potbound, when was it last repotted?
Good_Piano6150
The only thing I can think is take out of the pot and check roots, and check the roots in the moss pole. Start thinking about anything you’ve changed with it (water, placement, fertilizer, etc)
tamiisbored
Give us a closeup of one of the damaged leaves, i struggled with thrips on my big monstera for a while and it looked exactly the same
StalHamarr
Inspect the leaves for pests.
Other than that, it could be different reasons.
Maybe the roots reached their limit for that pot and can’t fully support the entire plant. It looks really small for a plant of that size.
Or it could be nutrient deficiencies. Old soil and overcrowded roots can lead to that.
I would check for pests first and the roots after that.
WINDOWandDOORguy
Could be rootbound in the pot, or sitting in still water. Sometimes their roots will get into the drainage holes and block them, causing still water to pool in the bottom of the pot causing rot. If you dig it up and it’s stinky and slimey, that could be why. If the roots are healthy maybe it’s bugs? saw someone else comment potential thrips. Just a thought though!
ES_Legman
How often do you feed this plant. When was the last time you repotted it.

Looks like thrips damage but it’s hard to tell without a close up of the foliage
MikeCheck_CE
Common issues for Monsteras would be thrips (pests), insufficient or too much sunlight, or over/underwatering.
You’ll need to show much closer shots of the leaves to inspect for signs of trips. Otherwise it’s likely a watering issue and maybe time to repot

Thrips pest damage
Potential_Flow9032
If your leaf size is decreasing between older and newer leaves you need to repot/fertilize.

100% thrips, sorry for your loss

Close up pics would help. If it IS thrips like others are suggesting, don’t waste time and just get the bonide granules. It wasn’t legal/sold where I leave but I was able to order it from eBay. The only other thing that seemed to work was pirate bugs and nematodes, but I only used them on my outdoor plants. If I had known they’d work so well I would have tried them on my indoor plants (the nematodes at least) before the bonide. I’d also prob repot this guy either way. I don’t see any thrips damage on the pothos next to it, which I would expect to see if this was thrips. You could order some sticky traps to know for sure.
Repot with more soil/bigger pot and a bit of fertilizer and maybe trim off the dying leaves
JIAGB
A lot of the newer leaves look smaller with less fenestration as well. Have you moved it into that corner or has it always been there I would go by what others with more experience than I on here say. If I was self diagnosing my go to would be (well my go to for any plant seeming off) thorough clean of all foliage, petioles and stems, a neem oil spray, if I find conclusive for pests I’ll try and do a repot after eradication also. Root check and light check. I know my house isn’t great for the best light so I generally circulate my plants every few months.

This happened to mine when I got thrips

Root bound pot it up!!!
ErrantWhimsy
There are a few other signs of issues, like the top leaves being smaller than the bottom leaves. I think you need to repot it ASAP and start fertilizing with every watering. It’s nutrient deficient. Check for pests too to be safe!

She needs a bigger pot!
Distinct-Practice131
When was it last repotted? The pot looks a big small for the size of plant.
deepdrkwb
You need a larger pot – double the size for it flourish, also treat it to some summer direct sun. It will recover.
something_beautiful9
Looks like pest damage. I got thrips once from a plant given to me. Had to break out the bonide systemic to get rid of it while covering the leaves in spinosad spray. They live inside the plant in some stages. Do the normal check the soil. Should be a light well draining soiless aroid mix. Make sure it’s not too wet or dry. Give it a plant light that made mine very happy. If the roots and soil look good likely pests. Nutrient deficiency mine usually shows it by eating it’s bottom leaves. But if the newer leaves and all over is showing damage sounds more like pests. Thrips would be very tiny thin bugs can be hard to see.

How’s the drainage? Could you potentially have root rot?

When was the last time you changed the potting soil?
Frequent-Day7713
I had this issue and mine turned out to be rootbound, their roots can grow aggressively in some seasons. Pests are definitely possible as well

This happened to mine a month ago. Root rot and fungus. Water was concentrated in one section and all the leaves were yellowing and dropping.
Glittering-Emu-907
Maybe it’s time for a repot. If you don’t see any bugs & if roots look healthy it might mean your monstera is just ready for a bigger pot!
trance4ever
that pot is way too small, if its been in the same one for years the soil has degraded so there’s no nutrients and its probably all just roots in the pot

Suspect that she needs a repot and recommend swapping the coco pole for a real moss pole, she would love it

I’d say that pot is much too small a plant that age shouldn’t still have small leaves with hardly any fenestrations. So it needs more sun and to get nutrients which it can’t do if majorly root bound. There could also be pests but you’d have to inspect. scale fucked my biggest monstera.
