hey yall this is my herbst's bloodleaf, i've hat it outside for a month or so… it looks amazing however im concerned these little spots are like bugs eggs or something? anyone recognize this?
It looks like scale to me. If it is, you’ll want to wipe down the plant with insecticidal soap or maybe neem oil. Keep wiping the plant down once every week or so to control the infestation. If the infestation is really severe then you could use a systemic insecticide which probably would be more effective quicker, but you’re more at risk of harming the plant if you use it. I prefer the safer ways when dealing with pests, though they’re more time consuming. I’ve personally never had to deal with scale so I’m not an expert, but I think that’s what you’re dealing with.

Those are scale. It’s a sap sucking pest. You can scrape them off and treat with a horticultural oil every few days. The other option would be to cut off impacted stems and leaves, then treat with the horticultural oil.

I would throw it out and cut my losses. This plant probably shouldn’t be brought into the house if you value what you have. I’ve never won the battle with scale in 50+ years of experience.
