Anyone know what these purple tomatoes are called. Got the plant from a market and wanna get some more next year
Hey, so i got the plant for these from a market and must have gotten rid of the tag so cant find what they are called. They ave grown amazing so would really like to plant some more next year
Sorry, can’t tell you the name of the tomato, but why don’t you just harvest the seeds out of a couple (assuming you still have some left!) – it’s what I’ve been doing for a few years now whenever I eat a nice fruit or vegetable!

Collect the seeds from the lovely purple tomatoes that you have right there! There are guides online, super easy. Good luck!

They look very much like the ‘indigo rose’ I’m growing.
I’m growing a variety called Black Moon this year which are similar – they start out purple and ripen into red.
Could be black opal
