mine flowered too. it wasn’t very pretty and just kinda shriveled and stays there dead so i cut it off

Both. It’s an inflorescence, which is a modified leaf. Sometimes, they get confused and come out looking like a misshapen leaf with normal colors and a stamen. My spathophylum does it sometimes.
