I have a wisteria that took off in the last 2-3 months from a 2 foot planted dormant starter. Since it's the first season with one and I know they will drop leaves eventually, I want to check and make sure this is normal or if it's stressed.
I know wisteria in general are incredibly hardy plants. More so on the invasive cultivars. Just want to make this one happy.

Wisteria frutescens like moist soil and tend to grow along streams. I’ve had good luck planting them in part shade in areas that have somewhat consistent moisture in the soil. I’m not sure what your soil/sun is like but I would guess it needs more water and may prefer less sun as it gets established.
