This spider plant is about 20 years old. She has mothered countless spider babies I have potted up and given away.

She’s been hanging by this skylight for the past few years. About 1 year ago, I refreshed all the soil. I water her once a week, sometimes more in the summer. The pot has drainage holes and regularly rains on the kitchen floor. (I put a towel down.)

I’m now wondering if I should flip her around? (See second photo for her rear view.) I recognize this is controversial. I once gave a healthy but lopsided fern a quarter turn and she was dead in two weeks. I guess for some plants, like people (?), change is hard. But seriously, would you turn this spider plant?

Yes I do , I’d try to turn this sideways if possible but side note. HOW GORGEOUS!!! I love your set up

It’s perfect. I wouldn’t mess with it, it looks very happy.

I do but I want my plants to look the same from all sides in the future. The cacti especially. Something living on a shelf I would likely worry about it less.

Curious do you use a ladder or you are just very tall?
