I bought it a few months ago, it's a variegated string of pearls, and it's not happy ANYWHERE. This is the result of it getting water, after a month of leaving it alone, I watched the Pearls for shrinkage instead of just one every x days. It started to rot. I cut all of that off. Left it in the same indirect light area and it kept dying. So I moved it to a place where it got a bit more induct light, but also about 1-2 hours of direct light. Now it's this. I have no idea if it can be saved. But if it can, please give me instructions. This is one of my dream plants, and I refuse to give up.

[r/succulents awaits](https://www.reddit.com/r/succulents/s/EWfxVbmtxB). So many threads on this; I linked you up a helpful one. Good luck.
I was told to let it dry out completely and that it really likes sun so maybe more light? I have no experience of it myself though ( just bought a regular SOP )
Cut any healthy strands and place it ontop of new soil. Use a cactus mix or something that drains well. Make sure to have drainage holes in the bottom of pot.
I bottom water all my string of pearls. Soak for about 20 minutes then let it fully drain. Summer I water about once every 7-10 days. Winter is 10-14 days. Don’t water again until it’s completely dry. Mine are in a west facing window and get a lot of light.
