Hi guys,
I’ve been working on this vivarium and currently have neon pothos, syngonium, and autumn fern (in the back right and a smaller portion behind the diagonal wood). I’m wondering if you guys have any plants you can recommend and ways I can increase plant foliage in the upper half. I’m preparing my vivarium for a crested gecko and they need more plant density.
Thank you

Replace the foam background, you will have a hard time getting anything to grow on it. Use cork panels, something like this. [https://www.grainger.com/product/Cork-4NLZ8](https://www.grainger.com/product/Cork-4NLZ8)

less light would be helpful….I know , sounds weird but all of your plant are understory plants so less lighting is appreciated 😉
A tall schefflera arboricola would fit nicely in here and fill out the space well while providing more climbing entertainment to your gecko
I would tie branches and vines to the mesh lid and secure a sort of canopy in the upper third of the tank that is currently unused – lean the other ends on the current wood and just secure with some hemp twine for a secure canopy.
Then, I would use sphagnum moss and twine to create kokedamas out of asplenium nidus, bromeliads, rabbits foot fern and other fun plants. Once they are little kokedamas, they are easy to shove into crevices in the wood, or just tied to branches. Also, a coconut hide.
