Hello everyone Welcome to the Wonder Garden channel! to have an orchid pot that blooms vibrantly and abundantly year round the most crucial factor is starting with the roots a truly healthy root system enables the plant to absorb nutrients more effectively producing lush glossy green leaves and gradually preparing for the next blooming season today I’ll share with you a very simple yet highly effective method to revive orchids that have finished blooming helping them return to a robust growth cycle as the orchid gradually recovers you’ll start to see new flower buds appear bringing vibrant vitality and natural beauty to your space what’s special about this care method is that it not only promotes strong plant growth but also helps prevent fungal diseases and harmful insects the flowers bloom longer stay vibrant and with consistent care your orchid can bloom year round without interruption let’s get started to begin today’s formula I only need one orange you can also use the orange peel because it’s this peel that contains natural essential oils capable of repelling harmful insects while providing a significant amount of essential nutrients to help the orchid grow healthily and Japanese Hindi and Indonesian to help you understand the content more easily listen in your preferred language by opening the video and clicking on settings the gear icon to select the appropriate audio language finally after finally chopping the orange peel I place it all into a clean glass jar this is the first step to extracting the valuable natural essences from the orange peel a gentle but highly effective nutrient source for orchids next I pour about 1 liter of boiling water into the jar the high temperature helps the essential oils and nutrients in the orange peel release more quickly creating a natural nutrient rich solution that the orchid can easily absorb after pouring the water simply seal the jar tightly and let it sit until the water cools completely during this time the essence of the orange peel will gradually infuse into the water forming a gentle yet highly beneficial care solution for orchids did you know that orchids need water to live and thrive proper humidity helps roots grow quickly while allowing the plant to absorb nutrients more effectively when water is lacking the plant struggles to grow healthily roots develop slowly and it’s prone to wilting therefore once a month you should take the time to soak the entire orchid pot as this provides deep hydration to the roots soaking the plant like this not only softens the growing medium but also creates conditions for the plant to absorb nutrients better in subsequent care steps you should soak for about 20 minutes which is enough time for the roots and growing medium to absorb sufficient water without the risk of water logging when the roots are properly hydrated the plant can metabolize more easily promoting natural growth and sustained vitality after the soaking step when the roots are ready the plant will absorb fertilizer more quickly and effectively this is also the best time to apply fertilizer without worrying about shocking the plant additionally soaking helps wash away excess minerals that accumulate in the growing medium over time keeping the planting environment airy and clean soaking also has another important benefit it helps remove decomposing organic matter preventing fungal diseases and keeping the root system clean and healthy this is exactly why I always recommend watering or soaking before applying any fertilizer when the plant is properly hydrated it absorbs nutrients more effectively growing healthier and more stable after soaking the plant for about 20 minutes gently remove it from the water at this point the root system and growing medium have absorbed enough moisture and are fully ready for the next care steps as you can see the growing medium has become quite dirty after soaking this is one of the reasons why orchids may not grow well or bloom as expected soaking the plant in this way not only provides deep hydration to the roots but is also a simple and effective method to remove impurities clean the root system and help the plant absorb nutrients better in subsequent fertilizing sessions regardless of the type of pot you use for your orchids this care step should be performed regularly when cared for properly orchids will grow quickly stay healthy and soon reward you with beautiful blooms just as you’d hoped once the fertilizer water has completely cooled the next step is to filter out the remaining residue thorough filtering will give us a clear nutrient rich solution ready to be used safely and effectively for the orchids next dilute the filtered solution with about 1 liter of clean water diluting makes the mixture gentler safer for the roots and suitable for regular use in watering now it’s time to prepare the next nutrient honey this is a highly beneficial natural ingredient for orchids helping to stimulate root growth and enhance the plant’s resilience simply add 1 teaspoon of honey to the solution this small amount is enough to provide natural energy support faster recovery and promote the development of healthy new roots method one use a soft cotton pad dip it into the prepared mixture and gently wipe both the top and bottom of each leaf when wiping the leaves with the orange peel and honey mixture the natural essential oils in the orange peel help clean long accumulated dust from the leaf surface at the same time these oils repel small insects like aphids or spider mites pests that can harm the plant’s health if the orchids leaves are covered in dust they struggle to absorb light effectively directly impacting photosynthesis therefore regularly wiping the leaves with this natural mixture not only keeps the leaf surface clean and glossy but also supports better photosynthesis leading to faster and more stable growth the honey in the formula provides a natural source of sugars and mild minerals which can be absorbed directly through the leaves this helps keep the leaves green thick and healthy while boosting natural resilience supporting strong root development and producing longer lasting vibrant flower blooms you should apply this leaf wiping method about twice a month regular care like this will keep your orchids clean healthy and blooming more vibrantly over time which country are you watching this video from it’s wonderful that we can connect with each other from all over the world if you haven’t subscribed to the channel yet please hit the subscribe button to support me and not miss any orchid care tips method 2 you can use this mixture to water the plant by misting this method provides gentle humidity and evenly distributes nutrients across the stem leaves and roots highly beneficial for the overall development of the orchid when misting ensure you spray both sides of the leaves evenly many harmful insects tend to hide on the underside of leaves where they’re hard to spot with the naked eye even spraying offers more thorough Protection the essential oils from the orange peel in the mixture when sprayed on the plant effectively repel insects like spiders aphids or thrips your orchids will be protected in a natural and robust way this is also one of the simple organic solutions you can apply to care for your beloved orchids daily easily and safely when using organic fertilizers patience is key the effects may not be immediate but over time your orchids will gradually recover even very weak plants can develop strong new roots maintain this care routine one to two times a month a small but consistent action will bring incredible vitality to your orchids method 3 use the mixture to water directly into the orchid pot this method allows nutrients to penetrate deeply into the growing medium nourishing the roots from within and supporting the plant’s overall development when watering the growing medium with this mixture it not only provides nutrients but also helps prevent root rot thanks to the natural antibacterial properties of the orange peel this ensures the roots are protected and grow healthier creating a solid foundation for the plant to thrive when watering the plant with this spoon it’s just enough for the roots to absorb nutrients safely without the risk of water logging or harming the plant apply this method regularly every two weeks and you can alternate with other organic fertilizers to provide a diverse range of nutrients for your orchids I always encourage prioritizing organic fertilizers because although their effects may not be as immediate as chemical fertilizers in the long run your orchids will be healthier from within recover better and maintain vibrant sustainable beauty over time with this patient and gentle care method you’ll see your orchids start to sprout new roots develop shoots and bloom again even those that were once very weak this is a simple yet effective method that consistently supports your orchids healthy development every day if you notice liquid fertilizer lingering on the leaves after application use a soft cloth to gently dab away excess water on the leaf surface and in the crevices this cleaning step helps prevent fungal diseases keeping the plant clean and healthy you’ll also notice the leaves becoming greener and glossier the best time to apply fertilizer is early in the morning when the plant has rested overnight the air is still cool and humidity is high this is when the roots are most active allowing the plant to absorb nutrients efficiently without stress from heat avoid fertilizing at midday as intense sunlight can burn the leaves and cause heat shock to the plant evening is also not ideal because photosynthesis slows down and fertilizer or water lingering on the leaves can easily lead to fungal diseases after watering gently place the plant in a cool well ventilated area with soft breezes and mild sunlight in the early morning or late afternoon soft light helps the plant dry quickly reduces the risk of root rot and supports better nutrient absorption with this simple care method you’ll see new roots forming continuously strong and healthy thick white roots firmly anchoring into the growing medium are a clear sign that your orchid is thriving and absorbing nutrients effectively not only will the root system develop but flower buds will also start to appear when the plant is cared for properly tiny delicate buds will gradually emerge from dormant nodes signaling an approaching vibrant blooming season as the buds fully develop you’ll be able to admire soft large and beautiful orchid petals blooming with vitality the wonderful thing is that the flowers will stay on the stem for a long time before fading bringing lasting beauty and joy to any orchid lover I hope you enjoyed this video if you found it helpful don’t forget to like and subscribe to the
