Garden City Police Department K9 retires from force

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – K9 Koda officially retired Monday after serving the department since 2021.

During Koda’s four years on the force, he worked both patrol deployments and narcotics detection alongside his handler, Officer Kody Wilson. Now, Koda will enjoy retirement at home with Officer Wilson.

The department says a new K9 will join the team soon, with more details to be released later.
