The OSU Lake County Master Gardener Volunteers announced their next Meet Us in the Garden talk will take place at 10 a.m. Sept. 6 at the Mentor Public Library’s Main Branch, 8215 Mentor Ave.
A Master Gardener will present “All You Really Need to Know About Bulbs,” and attendees can learn the basics of when, where and how to plant bulbs this fall. according to a news release. There will be a question-and-answer session afterward.
The talk is free, but registration is required. Go to mentorpl.org, call 440-255-8811, or stop by the library, beginning two weeks prior to the talk.
Brochures for their monthly talks through November will be available this session and at the library. Looking ahead, the Oct. 4 talk is “Meet Spring Early This Year, forcing (or making) bulbs flower to enjoy at other times of the year.”
