So I have a cactus plant that my late grandma planted decades ago but it’s been dying lately because my grandpa refuses to take care of it. My family have tried to bring it back to life but the cactus was to damaged and no one actually thought of taking a piece of it and replanting it because we didn’t really care to go that extra mile. Well one day I was looking at the cactus and saw some new sprouts. I thought about how these sprouts wouldn’t grow bc the main plant was damaged so I took a sprout and planted it in a random pot with whatever dirt it had. Now it’s been weeks maybe months and I find this? It’s in my porch rn bc it’s been raining a lot lately. I really hope it’s not going to die! What should my next steps be in this situation?
