I just finished my first jar! Blended a 20inch piece about 4 inches thick. I had it simmer for an hour at a time adding water when needed then strained with a T-shirt. I did this four times until the pulp was tasteless. I left the jars in the fridge over night letting any remaining sediment collect at the bottom. Then I strained that and reincorporated all of my runs together then simmered that down for another two hours leaving me with 2 cups exactly. Ive read that determining the dose is really hard to do but I have also read that 2-3 liquid ounces is considered a good starting point. That being said all the videos I’ve seen about San Pedro tea like ceremonies they end up drinking a full cup and the liquid is not nearly as dark as my concoction. Any advice would be very helpful.

I’ve always disliked the dosage for San Pedro; that being said: at this guess-tamation of concentration I would take 1/4-1/3 of the glass.
I hope you have a great experience! ✨🖤

If it was me I’d take the whole thing 🤷‍♂️ lol You can’t go by amount of liquid you’ve seen elsewhere either. Doesn’t really matter how much liquid it matters how much cactus was used And you don’t say what kind of cactus. I’ve done 20″ of solid bridgesii. Id also rather take too much than too little…

You can always do more, never less. Try a little and see how it goes?

How bitter is the tea outa curiosity? The chances that you have some random super potent macrogonus is unlikely and I’d down the whole thing and hope for the best.

Good work with the brewing🙌🏼 I’d go for the whole thing. But u can go half if you’re feeling unsure. Be at peace with it, and hold it in. Don’t let fear make you vomit. Ease your mind and let it fly where it takes you. It’s gonna be awesome
