The show was held at Ysgol Glannau Gwaun. As well as a chance to enter and view the exhibits, there were cream teas and a splendid raffle with more than 30 prizes.

Visitors to the show enjoyed viewing a wide variety of entries from cucumbers to chess sets as well as home grown flowers, fruit and veg, homemade wine, quilts and plenty of crafts and home baking.

“Thanks to everyone who helped us run it: the movers and shifters of tables and equipment; the admin team for sorting everything from schedules to prize money; the companies and businesses who donated raffle prizes; the volunteers running the raffle; the team in the kitchen.

Thanks to Billy the Mayor for presenting the cups and everyone for tidying up at the end.”
