Don’t you just hate those neighbors that don’t take care of their yard? It’s such an eyesore and it brings our property values down. Oh, hi. Yeah, that’s me. Okay, so hear me out. We’re all good at some things and not good at other things. Yard work is not my thing. And I didn’t even want this yard. The HOA wanted this yard. Why don’t they take care of it? And let me tell you something about grass. I hate it. It doesn’t do anything. Stupid King Louie and his palace of Versailles. If it wasn’t for him and his ridiculous gardens and what was called the green carpet, aka grass, grass wouldn’t be a symbol of royal power and wealth. that I wouldn’t be having to do this today. And I know people are going to come at me in the comments and tell me I’m doing it wrong. Yes. Yes, exactly. I don’t know what I’m doing. I’m from Arizona and there’s no grass there unless you want an $800 water bill. And for those of you that are going to give me advice, I don’t want that either. I have no intention of getting good at this skill. I just want to get it over with because mowing on a Sunday morning is the ultimate waste of my time. Oh, look at me just out here landscaping my slow descent into madness. One patchy row after another. And yes, I know I still need to weed, but that’s a tomorrow problem. Or maybe the next day or maybe

  1. Cut grass is good for nothing. Bee hostile too. What you could do is just plant a lot of plants appropriate for that specific climate. Plant so tightly you don't have to weed either. Beautiful and environmental friendly.

  2. Grass does not have to be cut every week. If you want it to look like it's just been cut and Never grows are ridiculous. I like mine to be higher. To me it looks nicer and the rabbits like it too. I want the yard but ITS MY YARD so leave me alone.

  3. Grass is the unsung hero of the plant world. Read up on it.talking this way sounds unintelligent. Soil is decomposed plant matter. Grass grow faster than most plants. It's the fastest way to heal the earth. Show respect. Or maybe just pave your whole yard. That will show your HOA.

  4. Maybe your husband and your kids could do it. We pay my kids to keep cut. Sometimes is good to delegate to others what we don't like doing.

  5. Consider it good excercise. You make your yard pretty and get healthy. Ditch the plug in electric mower and invest in a battery operated mower.

  6. In Arizona, having grass around a home cools the yard. In Arizona, the old farm areas are still green. Mybe you never saw it.
I recommend paying a neighbor kid $25 to cut it for you. Problem solved!
