TPM crest grafted to a eves needle rootstock how did I do?

  3. Excellent Tek, tried and true.

    I have seen a graft of this combination and it took, but never grew, the stock just pupped hard and grew itself. Might want to cut out the areoles on this one if you get a successful graft.

    You definitely need more pressure though, and it’s going to be very tricky to keep the scion steady with this combination of pot size and stock thickness. Is this your only option? You don’t want to be able to easily move the scion.

    Overall, not bad!

    I have tried probably 20 times to graft on eves needle. Never had one take. I hope you have more success than me. I have a friend who had one successful graft on this though
